Saints 4-3 (Ryan)
1. Linebackers are not typical 3-4 linebackers
2. Very little Blitzing from LB's
3. Zero Line Stunts
4. Safeties are lost

Steelers 4-3 (Lebeau)
1. LB's are leaner and faster
2. Diguise blitzes
3. Line Stunts
4. Safeties are making plays and blitzes

Titans 4-3 (Horton)
1. LB's are leaner and faster
2. Blitzes a lot
3. Corners play tight man
4. DB Blitzes
5. D-Line is undersized

Do we have a talent problem or 3-4 scheme problem?

Is the Steelers and the Titans talent that much better than ours?

We only have one cover corner and his knee was the size of an orange last week. Losing Greer was huge.

We have talent on the DL (Junior, Cameron, Hicks and Jenkins are very solid players. They're very good when they're all on at the same time or not injured - jjenkins).

We have 1 talented tackling LB, other than that we have average/below average LBs.

Outside of Byrd and Lewis, we have a ton of unproven players or just bad players in our secondary. Patrick Robinson is wishy-washy. One day he's playing very well, the next he's just worse than Corey White. SJB can't get on the field. Dixon is just an UDFA. Vaccaro is just up and down as well, or just out of position.

We played way above our heads last year, but like ^ said, having greer was what made us who we were last year. Greer in 2012 was still a solid #1CB, not as great as he was in 2009-2011, but still very solid. Getting Lewis and him at the same time just meant we had 2 #1 CBs at the same time.

I think it's talent.

Truly poor scouting and drafting from the GM and coaches.

Pretty sure that's too many men on the field.

And Pitts D was set up for this week with a young immobile QB. We've had to play contain against Cam, Kapernick and Rogers the last few weeks. And even Dalton is pretty mobile.

That being said, our secondary is lacking in talent and the talent we have is being misused. I miss that Vaccarro guy from last year.

Haven't seen a LB effectively disguise a blitz since Fujita was in Black and Gold. Seriously. It's been that long.

we can't blitz because our secondary blows
