Let's be honest about this season and Sean Payton.. It's pretty obvious that he is not the coach that he was prior to the suspension in 2012. Offensively we are not the same team and have not been since 2011. You may could attribute that to a couple of key losses among the offensive line or lack of explosiveness in the wide receiving core. But the bottom line is Payton is not as good as he once was. I think he lost touch with the game a little during the suspension, doesn't seem to have the same creative game plans that he once had and our teams consistently seem unprepared. Yesterday was awful and maybe this hyperbole coming off the worst performance I have seen in the Payton era. The team was dead, which led to the crowd being dead. We simply got dominated by a team that is average at best. Unless Payton can get back to his old ways, we are in trouble going forward. At this point all winning the division would be is an extra week of practice.

Payton is more worried about attending Crossfit than getting this team improved this year. I'm so tired of hearing the same excuses after each loss on how "We have to coach better as coaches". What will they really do differently that they haven't been doing?? Looked like the team is about ready to pack it in for the season. Have shown absolutely zero passion/fire in their last effort. And is Colston retiring after this season cause he looks like he is trying to speed up that process.

Maybe the latter half of the season. The first few games were very poorly coached and game-planned. I don't feel CSP called a decent game until our loss in Cleveland. We've also had a lot of bad breaks and injuries. Sometimes it's just not in the cards.

This team is a mess, and it started with the losses to Atlanta and Cleveland.

0-2 start, led to players over exerting themselves in practice I'm assuming (Byrd injury).

1. We're down 3 of our top 4 safeties.
2. Our starting center has been in and out of the lineup due to injury
3. Our RT got concussed and lost for the game
4. Our jack of all trades RB has been injured for an extended period of time with no viable 3rd down back on the roster (Ingram has played exceptionally well, but we need a change of pace guy and Cadet is not..NOT it).
5. Our most dynamic WR is pretty much lost for a month
6. Our #1 WR looks like a shell of his former self, even worse than last year
7. Our interior guards are eating up 15mil and can't block a my little pony
8. Our TE has a rotator cuff injury that makes his catching radius a lot smaller than normal
9. Our ILB came back and shite the bed by hitting completely wrong holes (Hawthorne) and letting Cincy make a key 3rd down over and over. Instead of playing the ILB that has played well the past couple of weeks.
10. Our DC is being as stubborn as GW. It started with Byrd being 40 yards deep and now White and Bush on AJ Green didn't work for half the game, why not try Patrick Robinson? He pretty much shut down Sanu
11. Marcus fricking Ball.
12. Drew Brees and his refusal to take sacks

This team is a complete mess.

I couldn't agree with this post more. Hopefully Ball makes up for his shittet play next Monday, but I doubt it's going to happen. Also, who's going on for Cooks? Please don't tell me it's fricking Toon...

Is Meachem healthy? Did he play last week? I know Toon got a couple snaps in his place against 49ers.
