We also expected the offense to improve at least a little as the year has gone on. It hasn't and it will be worse next year with half the O line leaving.

Next year our O line will be young. So I guess we are expecting to struggle there. That will help us feel better.

Yes, I was expecting to lose a few games this year due to QB inexperience. However, when your playcalling puts the young QBs in 3rd and long constantly then that is unacceptable.
Everyone knows that we run, run, pass and the D is not made to respect the pass. 8+ guys in the box nearly every play. Our passing game was successful (Edit: meant last year) with great talent at QB and WR, but look how often we ran PA pass on 1st and 2nd down. Opened up the run with an offense that wasn't 1 dimensional.
And when you continue trotting out the same struggling (putting it very nicely) QB then the coaching staff deserves a shite ton of criticism.
So no, I was not expecting this kind of year.
