I am certainly not saying Drew is the main problem with the team this year, but that specific game was on him. You cannot throw a pick 6 there. He has continually pressed at inopportune times when he simply doesn't have to this year. Last nights mistake being the most glaring example.

Drew is going to have to play at an elite level for 60 minutes for the Saints to make the playoffs this year. There is no other way around it with their horrendous secondary. Brady, Rodgers and Manning do it every week. Brees has not been in that class this year.

Yes, saying last night's game is on Drew and Drew alone is absolutely stupid. He was incredible the entire night outside of 1 throw where Jahri completely missed his block.

He was the only reason we were in the game. He was making play after play despite constant pressure in his face.

What do they do every week? Are you comparing their situation to ours this year?

He had a 2.2% interception rate last night despite constant pressure. That rate would put him 4th best all-time

His brilliance in the first half is entirely negated by handing the Ravens a TD at a critical juncture in the game.

My mind is blown how you watched that game and say the Saints moved the ball at will. The first half they looked good, but they were shut the frick down in the second half. They did nothing in that half outside of garbage yards when the Ravens went to prevent.

At what point in the game did the Ravens go to prevent? The last TD? It was a 7 point game with 6:30 to go in the game. We had 2 bad possessions in the 3rd quarter, I'd agree with that.

Our redzone offense killed us. We moved the ball.

We averaged 50 yards per drive, removing the last TD for "garbage time". There is only 1 team in the NFL that averages over 40 yards per drive.

So yes, I'm going to call 50 yards per drive moving the ball when the Eagles are the next closest team at 37.1 yards per drive

If you want to go by yards per play, we averaged 7.3 in "non garbage time". The NFL leader is Denver on the year at 6.2

Brees can't throw pick 6 when we're tied in the second half.

He might have been able to at one time, but that time is long gone.
You don't see hundred million dollar QB's throwing a pick 6 every other game anywhere else.

Point to those other guys and I'll point to their offensive line. 80% of a play occurs in the first second of the snap. Everything after that, whether good or bad, stems from the exchange of the ball and the physical assertions by the linemen. You can have the best skill players, coordinators, and game-plan in the league, but if you aren't winning the fight up front you are going to lose the game. Period.

The outcome of the game doesn't change the fact that you thought Ravens were favored, used it as proof they were better and when you found out Saints were favored you say well the fact I just used to prove ravens are better doesn't count anymore because it doesn't prove my own point. The game score doesn't change that you did that. Hard to understand how you don't get this.

Ravens won they were easily the better team last night our defense got gashed our safeties are a joke etc etc but Vegas wasn't wrong and I'm sure that's hard for you to understand. But but but ravens won and saints were favored so they were wrong you are soooo stupid. That's not how it works. You realize if the saints and ravens played again next week the saints would be favored right?

You should be forced in the kitchen with the women for Thanksgiving and not allowed to watch football with the guys
