Point Aux Chenes Duck Hunting

Looking to go to PAC to make a duck hunt this weekend. I've never hunted there, but have fished and crabbed there. I will go scout around on Saturday (after lunch) and hunt Sunday morning. Any tips?

I know that some area is paddle only, some is 25hp only (which i'm good on with a 23hp). My question really is where should I launch? Island road or across the canal?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I'm not asking for any "spots", just a little guidance on which direction to go.
