OK, I made the meat loaf and it came out great. I used oats instead of bread crumbs. I used the larger flatter pan so the meat didn't touch the sides.

I used a can of Hunt's meat loaf tomato sauce instead of milk...the suggestion of my golf partner.

I also added some cumin because I just like cumin.

My only question... why wasn't there any grease to drain? When I used a baking pan holding the loaf in there was always grease to drain. But with this larger pan there was no grease. My only guess is that it was absorbed by the oats.

What everyone else says

Try mixing a little Worcestershire and a touch of Heinz 57 steak sauce in it (not on top - in the mixture. Adds a nice zip.

And use Oatmeal instead of bread crumbs
