And the better question: How does it play out?

Do the beat writers, local and national media fuel pressure for some sort of change? Or is it more fan-base driven?

Do we see staffing changes? Or do we see play calling and in-game coaching changes?

Do we see administration changes? Pressure?

Does Les even acknowledge something must change, and chalks this up to specific situational events and the circumstances he is "dealt"?

How & what makes change happen?

There will be no change until the majority of fans unite to demand better offensive football. There is no reason for an LSU team to have the type of offenses we have had on several occasions under Coach Miles.

Les is so secure that any changes that do happen would be his doing.

That being said, no substantive changes WILL happen.

Alternate Answer

The calendar will read 2015 rather than 2014.

I agree that Les is secure. However, Les is very loyal to his staff. So I wonder if we see anything happen at all for the coaching staff.

I think he tries playing Harris. But I wonder if 2015 rolls in and we witness more QB struggles. I hate to be that negative about a player's potential...especially Harris' potential--as I see him as talented. I just don't know if he gets the support he truly needs in the off season.

Jennings will get the start @ TAMU and he will have an above mediocre game somewhere in the ball park of 18/32 for 225 yards with 2 TD’s. This will solidify to Les the he was right all along and Anthony Jennings will be his guy. In the offseason Les will state that the there is a QB competition just like every other position, which will be a load of BS with him knowing the entire time that AJ is his guy.
There will be no major coaching changes, possibility that Peveto gets canned. Also there is a small chance that Frank Wilson gets offered a more lucrative coaching spot elsewhere his name has been mentioned in several small school, head coach openings.
The season will play out and have the same type of problems we have now, maybe not as severe dysfunction but the problems will still be there. Harris will finally be fed up and then will finally do what the Ranter’s are saying and, transfer.
Last year’s offense helped recruiting 10 fold. Now with this circus show for an “O” it has set us back equally as much if not more. It will be very tough to pull the likes of Demarkus Lodge or a Tyron Johnson with this kind of scheme. No 17 year old WR wants to play in this kind of close minded dinosaur offense. The recruiting will get tougher and we will see less and less of the play-makers like Dupre and Quinn take their talents to LSU.

You wonder if we will struggle at qb in 2015?

We will be having this same discussion about Jennings in 2016 while harris is successfully playing for another program

I don't expect any meaningful changes. JMO
