Haha come on. We get no,pass rush whatsoever, we have a QB that doesn't move the ball. We can't make a FG . Yeah let's fire the oline coach .

O Line sucked at the beginning of the year but has actually progressively gotten better over the year.

We ran for 180+ vs alabama and 250+ vs Ole Miss who both have top 10 defenses.

This game we had 2 starters missing. He is definitely not the one to blame baww

Did he compose the game plan or call the plays? The offense stunk coming off the bus.

Because we are busy blaming our inept head coach.

Put it this way. If lsu fired him tnite..... How many top 20 programs.....not ranked teams..... are clamoring to get him on board?

The Oline could have played better, but Grimes could be promoted to head coach, and there is absolutely no way we would be an ounce worse.

Because the root problem isn't the o-line. It is weak QB play and the staff's desire to hide the QB instead of try to develop him.

Arky not only played 8 & 9 man fronts, they ran a lot of run blitzes out of it. They did not respect or fear our ability to pass. No o-line can deal with that from a sheer numbers standpoint.

The way to beat that is multiple receiver sets to spread the d out and make them play more coverage. And hit some quick, short passes to make them readjust their scheme.

Instead, we go to max protect formations and don't have many guys running routes, allowing the defense to continue to bring pressure while also having more than sufficient coverage. And we do it in third and long. And expect Jennings to succeed under that situation. It's maddening.

Other teams do not crater to nothing especially teams that supposedly have the talent that LSU has recruited.
Bottom line is way too many players are not properly coached and ready for the primetime.
QB has been a constant torn, the DL was abysmal earlier in the year as were the LBs. Now the OL is slipping. Just too many holes and excuses for a program that is this late in the season.

Has not recruited his players. Line was very overrated in terms of talent. I also question the football instinct of some of those players.

You can't be fkn serious. The line has performed exceptional over the last several games...despite having the box stacked. They were down two guys last night and Arky sold out on the run......sometimes I swear you guys should be banned for just being ignorant.

You hit the nail squarely on the head. Your statement tells it all.

When the opposing team has a QB who can't throw and a scheme that calls for its WR's to run routes that take 5-7 seconds to develop, blitzing typically works well despite the OL's best efforts

My father's mantra over the course of this season has been "It's hard for 5 guys to block 9".

If anything, the line has probably played better than we'd have expected them to, all things considered.

Come on guys, 2 injuries? We, like every other team, have a depth chart, 85 scholarship players, a week to proactive and prepare. We need to stop with the phony excuses....
