When did Jefferson Parish become majority white trash?

It seems like any white person below the age of 65 in JP is complete trash. I know it's always been like this in west Jeff but Metairie/Kenner/Harahan are starting to look no different. Is this a result of the JP public school system and/or have all the classy folks moved to Nola and the northshore?

People in general are becoming increasingly trashy. Just less non trashy people in the country these days

That may or may not be true. I do think the demographics are slowly changing in JP. The upper middle income households are choosing the north shore now or other metro areas entirely.

Majority of the young professionals in the city are living in New Orleans and not living in the suburbs. Other than a few areas like Old Metairie, the rest of the parish has started to go downhill.

Metairie from causeway to New Orleans is the best kept secret in the metro area. Way better than the armpit that is New Orleans.
I wonder IF New Orleans residents in LakeView and Uptown will ever realize that they are victims of taxation without representation. The city service is terrible and overpriced and there is no end in sight.

Correct. Young professionals used to live in Metairie - now they live in NOLA.
Northshore sucks- isolated and boring.
