Well no but I guess I've come to expect that kind of price.... I'm fully expecting Grand Reserve to be 17.99 with the Imperial close to that or higher

You don't have to venture too far into the world of barrel-aged stouts to find prices more than twice that.

It wasn't last year. IIRC I paid $14.99 for my bottles, and I saw some for cheaper than that afterwards.

$15.99 is a little high. I bought it for $10.99 at Rouse's

That's more reasonable. I saw it for $10.99 yesterday at Dorignacs.
Sorry I brought up the price issue. Just caught me off guard to be paying that much for an Abita product.
It is good beer though. Happy that Abita did something like this and did it well.

It's good but I wish it had just a tiny bit less bourbon flavor to it. The bourbon is strong.

A strong offering from Abita, but not worth the price tag.

I paid $12.99 for it at Rouse's Veterans Blvd location. I also had to do a double take when I rang it up.

Popping it open for the Saints game.
