The truth is beginning to come out on these thugs. The next couple of years will be very interesting.

Hope you don't mind.
There is a difference.

It is no better than Pravda at many of our news agencies.

She should start a club with Sharyl Attkisson

I could understand if she was just being an arse, constantly disrespecting him or being a sarcastic a-hole towards him, but just for math that doesn't add up?

Yeah. I watch a lot of CNBC, I'd say a lot of their anchors are pretty fair.

This is a typical example of how a story can be both unbelievable and not the least bit surprising at the same time.
It's unbelievable that our media has degenerated into becoming nothing more than a mouthpiece for the liberal agenda.
But, most of us have known this for a long time, so it's not surprising in the least.

“I said on the air that you couldn’t add millions of people to the system and force insurance companies to cover their pre-existing conditions without raising the price on everyone else,” Francis said. “I pointed out that it couldn’t possibly be true that if you like your plan, you can keep it. That was a lie. And in facts, millions of people had their plans canceled.”
On this board there are still committed Obama Shock Troops who deny all this. Then they call you a name and tell you that you hate black people and small furry animals. They will even tell you that you are lying about your OWN bill/cancellation notice. This is their game.

“It’s shocking, but it doesn’t surprise me because when I was at CNBC, I pointed out to my viewers that the math of Obamacare simply didn’t work,” Francis said Friday. “Not the politics by the way, but just the basic math. And when I did that, I was silenced.” Francis pointed out that she has an economics degree from Harvard University and said she was simply trying to explain the math behind Obamacare to her viewers — the same math Gruber has candidly admitted the administration tried to hide. “I said on the air that you couldn’t add millions of people to the system and force insurance companies to cover their pre-existing conditions without raising the price on everyone else,” Francis said. “I pointed out that it couldn’t possibly be true that if you like your plan, you can keep it. That was a lie. And in facts, millions of people had their plans canceled.” Francis said she was called into a meeting with CNBC management (she would not specify names) and told she was “disrespecting the office of the president.”
You didn't need an economics degree from Harvard to understand that it wasn't going to work. It was impossible for this plan to be implemented and save anyone money. It was obvious to anyone who understood basic math and basic ecnomic theory - which should be anyone who does basic household finance.
It isn't just the Obama Administration that thinks Americans are stupid. The Media thinks it too. But, you know what? They are apparently right. The American Voter is incredibly stupid - or gullible. Why they believe ANYTHING that our government or the Media tells us is beyond me. They lie every time their lips move.

The people on CNBC are terrible. They know very little about actual investing. I can't watch it.

How does Lawrence Kudrow on CNBC get away with slamming Obama every day.
War on women only (the men can slam, but not the wimmens).

She was silenced for giving her opinion, not stating facts. Unless she was an editorial contributor, I don't need the anchors opinion. I'll form my own.

How is stating the math doesn't add up an opinion?

That's a fact and it has been all along.

Second, when he did have his show, economic politics and analysis was his role.
After listening to Francis today on Media Buzz, I suspect she never was comfortable in her straight reporter's role at CNBC. Sounds like CNBC wanted her to simply read a prompter, while she wanted to do analysis. Much of CNBC's analysis comes from guests who've been active in the markets/business for years.
Guess it would help if we could view the segment in question, but sounds like her move to Fox Business was good for all parties. She has a Harvard MA in Economics. Should be capable of doing more than reading scripted prompts. Presumably that is more in line with FBC's expectations than was the case at CNBC.
