Highland Coffees' Victory

"Highland Coffees owner Clarke Cadzow and the coffee shop’s landlord, Hank Saurage, have reached an agreement on a new lease that will allow the popular coffee shop to remain open at its location on West Chimes Street just outside the LSU North Gates."

The ridiculous idea that the landlord could have put a "burger/wing" restaurant in that building is ludicrous.
0 parking - check
10 other similar restaurants in the same area - check
And from what I've heard he also owns the old Gatti's building. It may not be true but if he wanted to do a restaurant venture put it in the f'ing vacant building with plenty of parking and an already functioning kitchen.

negative. Phil (the family that owns Gattis Essen and Denham, and the ones in mississippi) owns that building. His family is loaded, and I think he's already got a restaurant going in there.
If not, zero f's are given, because he doesnt need the $, and to let liquor in there, is going to cost the tenant a fortune. I've spoken to him personally and got this thoughts on this several times.
