I know Baraaq Hussein Obama hates America, and the Constitution, but could he really stoop so low as to bypass congress on something that potentially huge?

In the dimocratix handbook, Rules for Radicals, Rule #9 says, "'The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.' Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist." This leak sure stirred up the GOP.

Also, why would the White House leak out a scoop to their arch-enemy, Fox News, of all places? I say two reasons: More GOP types, susceptible to such trolling, would be watching Fox. Also, when the EO does not come, Fox, the news organization that has been a thorn in Obama's side from the beginning has egg all over its face for reporting a false story.

I think, and also hope, he is bluffing.

I doubt it's a bluff. I think most rational people look at the insane things this man wants to do and say it has to be a bluff. Because no one in their right mind would do something this stupid.

Then you look at the trail of carnage he has behind him and you realize that he really is that stupid.

it's not a bluff. HR asked the Prez to hold off on the EO til they get a spending bill passed so the R's can't 'not fund' the EO.

Absolutely not.

The man is arrogant and pretentious. He is very mad that he lost the elections. He hates the fact that the people have power over him. So now it's punishment time.

Remember sequestor? He is egotistical and hates America and it's values. This is in his book, in his own words. He despises American exceptional ism and is trying to literally destroy America for what it is. The left is stupid enough to think that if they make a deal with the devil, they won't suffer his wrath. Guess what liberals. The slaves are the ones beaten the hardest.

I stated here a while back that he will not handle immigration with an EO.

Not a bluff.

He's always been an arrogant a-hole. However, contrary to the representations of him and his handlers, he is wounded, and intends to strike out.

So the country puts Republicans back in charge with immigration being one of the hot topics. And this arrogant and narcissistic President wants to implement an EO that goes against what the people voted for?

It isn't a bluff. He wants to increase the democrat voter base.

Its not a bluff. This petulant child is looking to act out after last Tuesday's admonishment.

The NYT editorial column yesterday made an interesting point. They said Obama does not have the authority to change immigration law without Congress. However, he has the authority to determine methods of enforcing (or not enforcing) current law. IE, he could just instruct our agents that there will be no deportations or detentions or arrests of illegal immigrants.

As a result all illegal aliens currently here and those new ones able to cross the border can stay. The problem with this is that it will not satisfy the Hispanic lobby. They will say 'What happens in 2 years when Obama is gone? We'll have deportations again."
