Meh, there will be plenty of bills in addition to Keystone that he'll veto.

I could see congress getting two thirds to pass it next year. There will be a bunch of democrats looking to cover their arse and get out from underneath Obama.

He's impossible. He will only "compromise" if it's done the way he wants it to be done. I would love to see his response if they got the necessary votes to override his veto.

Put it on his desk and force him to reject it.

Then, laugh in the phony's face the next time he dares to take any credit for America becoming more energy self-sufficient.

Exactly.

In the same article, his basis for arguing he has to take "executive action" on immigration is that the House has not taken up the Senate's (HIS) bill. Lost in that discussion is the fact that the House passed an alternative that the Senate (HIS party) has refused to allow to come to a vote.

He will sign it. Why should he Veto it and next yr have Congress just override it and make him look even less powerful. His big lefty Donors know this so they arnt gonna withhold Money from the Dems because of it. So he really has nothing at all to lose.

If I am the republicans I am sending him as many bills as possible over the next two years. It will at the very least show the nation what a stubborn out of touch President he is.

If I'm the DC Republicans, I start squeezing this bastard's nuts by killing the funding for all the little perks he enjoys so much, like the huge staff, personal chef, etc, and warn that any attempts to redirect money from elsewhere will result in that agency's budget getting zeroed out.

They don't need to get petty with stuff like that. Just pass good bills to send to the white house. Force him to take a stand against things the American people want. He'll out himself for what he really is.
