The pussies of this nation have been pushing to do away with the Greek System for a long time. I can see it starting at a lot of school in the next 10 years.

I wonder if it's that new synthetic LSD. It killed a guy at VooDoo fest and injured 26 others (overdosed)
Very bad stuff and it's spreading right now. It's the synthetic equivalent of angel trumpets ( a plant I would never have around) - very bad and deadly yet risked because of hallucinogens.

Definitely agree. I was not involved in the Greek system, but as a higher ed administrator, I see the value of the Greek system. This is a rash decision by a major university - possibly to avoid lawsuits.
The jackpot justice society needs to go to hell.

OK so they suspended the ENTIRE greek system over the separate incidents of a single Snapper and 19 Sigma Chis?

Ben Wynn will always be remembered for the death by alcohol poisoning, but at the time he was the poster child for the drive to rid LSU of GHB.
GHB was hug at the time. It was this very salty liquid, that if you drank one or two bottle caps of you were both drunk and high (like ecstasy). But like other drugs it took away the affect of alcohol on the brain. So you couldn't tell you were drinking too much. You are high on G and drink too much liquor for your body and you die.
G was legal at the time and made from workout supplements. But after this and other issues it was banned.

Link says activities are suspended, not as if the organizations themselves are. Maybe I just read the OP wrong.

You know damned well that boy had GHB in his system if you're talking about Wynne. And I don't recall it shutting anything down as far as the university. Or is that when they stopped allowing alcohol at parties and shite?
