I didn't vote for obama in 08 or 12, BUT, I would really like to see tax reform. And raising the age of retirement for SS/Medicare.

I would also really like to see immigration reform. But I doubt any of that happens.

This is so desperately needed as life expectancy keeps exploding.

It should have bipartisan support.

See the end of ISIS (bonus if no "boots on ground")
Continue good economy
Keep ACA going
Immigration Reform (doesn't have to be major)

He doesn't have to do all of the above, but picking off one or two would be great.

Either or both of these. I'd also love to see some kind of campaign reform. Won't happen though.

its never going to happen though. very sad.

raise it incrementally and then tie it to life expectancy is the rational solution.

I really wish I could go back in time and suggest it to congress in the 30s for SS. if they had thought about it, it would have been a no brainer!

So if it was tied to life expectancy would different race/sex/education change your retirement age? Educated white men live around 15 years longer than uneducated black men.

you would need to just take the overall average, and apply it to everyone. sure some people are going to get screwed.

I hope so. We will need a helping hand to secure more Republican victories in 2016. This will play well when Obama replaces Reid as the great impediment to truly moving "Forward".
