LSUs 2013 Offense more talented than some NFL offenses?

Mett
Hill
OBJ
Landry
More talented than Raiders, Bucs, Vikings ?
It used to seem dumb to think about but it's likely the case.

I'll tell you this, it's pretty amazing to see these guys flourish, even in roles in the NFL they didn't play (or were beaten out) at LSU.
-Landry & Randle returning kicks
-Wright contributing, huge catch a few weeks back in OT
-Alfred Blue featured more prominently with Texans than LSU

LSU's 2013 starting 11 would be the worst offense the NFL has seen since the development of the modern athlete. Comparatively, it would be the worst NFL offense of all time.

2013 Blue had 71 carries for 343 yards and 5 catches for 62 yards over 13 games.
2014 Blue with Texas has 68 carries for 234 yards and 6 catches for 56 yards over 9 games and may possibly be the feature back this week.

How many games did Jeremy Hill miss because of injuries last year? How many games has Arian Foster missed because of injuries this season?
Not to mention that Blue is now another 12 months removed from knee surgery that sidelined him in 2012. Those things sometimes take more than a year to completely heal.
I like Blue, and I'm proud of him. But let's not act like he was not given a fair shake here in Tigerland.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm merely pointing out that our third most productive RB last year is the clear No. 2 man on an NFL team a season later and has had nearly equal production 9 weeks in. How many schools can say that about their third RB?

The skill guys could hang but in the trenches we would get BLASTED! IF they had say the line the Cowboys have this year it is possible they would have not been the worst offense in the NFL by the end of last year.

Landry and Randle are also huge contributors on their offense.
Hill is starting in place of injured Bernard. He was also getting a decent amount of snaps even when Bernard was healthy.
OBJ is looking like a stud for the Giants burning Sherman the other week on a deep ball.

Wtf
Statistically it wasn't even the best in the SEC

I'm saying the collective talent at the skill positions is better than those NFL offenses I mentioned.

It seems like the point the OP is trying to make is that if you take those skill position players listed, and put them all on one NFL team today, they would be better than what some NFL teams have today for those positions. I would have to agree =)

Just another reason why lsu wasted talent.
We could have all the talent in the world and still wont win an NC with this incompetent coaching staff

But they lost THREE games last year IN COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From a skill position standpoint, it's close. Just looking at the Raiders, I would take Mett over Carr and Landry/OBJ over whoever the hell starts for the Raiders. Not sure I would take Hill over McFadden or Jones-Drew .... yet.

This is the better question. If you put Mett, Landry, Wright, Beckam, and Hill with the Cowboys line, then they MIGHT not be the worst offense if the NFL.
You have to remember that while OBJ, Landry, and Hill have played great thus far, even on teams like the Bucs and the Raiders, you have proven veterans and pro bowlers at the skill positions.

Yes. What I'm saying is that even beyond their roles as starters they are the best on their NFL team at something they were not in college and that's pretty amazing.
