Anyone ever try this?
quote:
Mary Kay said she likes the crispy wing of a fried turkey, and having the two on Thanksgiving is the best of both worlds. Sometimes, Kerry smokes the turkey after it's boiled, as he has also done with ribs.

My bro has poached ribs then grilled them. I enjoyed then.
I poach chicken too.

I read the article the other day and had mixed feelings about the idea. My wife was dying to try it. I had recently bought a jar of Al Scarmuzzo's crawfish boil. Tonight as a double trial I boiled a chicken in Al's boil. I must say the chicken was very quick and incredibly tasty. Al's boil is very good and much different than the usual boil mixes available. I will probably boil a turkey on Tgiving.
