Shocking.

quote:

Jonathan Gruber, the main architect of Obamacare, admitted in a panel discussion on the subject in October of 2013 that the Obama Administration, Democrats in Congress, and others who helped craft the law engaged in a program of systematic dishonesty to get the law approved. Gruber stated that without such broad based deception, Obamacare would have never been passed into law. But what the public got as a result is one massive fraudulent program.

For liberals the end will always justify the means since they are always well intentioned and know what's best for us all.

More than lie, it was purposefully and skillfully crafted so as to deceive what it actually was.

It was on an Enron-scale deception. We know what happened to them.

Even though we all knew this was true as it was unfolding, how can this be admitted and there not be serious consequences for those involved in the ruse?

The problem is that Roberts had to know this and yet, he allowed it to stand.
Have to wonder what they promised or had on him?

Absolutely true.

For example, take the Resident LibTurds: does anyone doubt that, if given the power, they would applaud the use of Democrat Executive power alone to pass binding legislation?

They have no problem with Dictatorship, so long as somebody like Obama is Dictator.

It should be noted that Dr. Carson was part of the original think tank for this and once he found these type shenanigans were going on he politely excused himself.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) today sent a letter to Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius in reference to Jonathan Gruber’s failure to disclose his financial relationship with the Obama administration when he was testifying before the Senate Finance Committee. It appears that, at the time, Sen. Grassley was unaware Gruber had been given a lucrative, sole source contract by the HHS to do analysis of the “President’s health reform proposal.”

Senate letter to Gruber

quote:

I write concerning Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Jonathan Gruber’s relationships with HHS. Recent reports state that Professor Gruber received nearly $400,000 from HHS in exchange for his providing assistance in evaluating Congress’s various health care reform proposals. During this same time, he was active in promoting and defending the Administration’s preferred health care policies both before Congress and in the media. This includes Dr. Gruber’s participation in the Committee’s May 12, 2009, Roundtable Discussion entitled “Financing Comprehensive Health Care Reform.” On occasions such as this one, it appears that Professor Gruber advanced the Administration’s agenda without disclosing the fact that he was receiving federal remuneration.
