Student section was awesome all night
Then again, I don't have a problem with a few naughty words at a football game. People actually believe that it diminishes the degree on the wall.

Agreed. Adds to the intimidating atmosphere that so many claim is "lost"
I'll give the students this. For big games (Ole Miss/Bama) they show up, are loud, and lead the stadium. I hate other sections that are quiet, sitting on their hands the whole time, etc. Give me the energy of the student section any day over that lame shite.

Yep everyone who says that "Alleva needs to disband the student section" is stupid. If they were to get rid of the student section, the stadium atmosphere would be dead.

Screaming out, loud & long, "Saban sucks" goes way beyond a few naughty words. It served no purpose, as related to the game, whatsoever & embarrassed the university on national tv. Real classy,student body, really classy.

Here's your problem -you fail ti see the language was out of line and an embarrassment on national TV for the university and those affiliated with it.

Really wish these old farts would get off their high horse and stop acting like they wouldnt have chanted the same things back in their day...... My dad told me when he was a student in the 70's and lsu played rice the student section would chant "what comes out of a china mans arse? Rice, rice, rice!" So as funny as I think that chant was, it was certainley racist and didn't quite exude class.

Are the students not affiliated with it?
They have a reputation for being rowdy, that is part of it.
The stadium has a reputation for being loud, outside the student section it isn't.
