Yes it does and I was wondering if that was the luck of the draw or was it set up?

The top admiral and enlisted man in the U.S. Navy’s SEAL force are warning its members not to disclose classified information for publicity or cash, as two SEAL veterans who participated in the raid that killed al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden remain under scrutiny for allegedly doing so.

The SEAL leaders said in a letter to all SEALs published on Friday that a critical part of the SEAL ethos is, “I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor seek recognition for my actions.” It is a lifelong commitment, both during and after military service, said Rear Adm. Brian L. Losey, commander of Naval Special Warfare Command, and Force Master Chief Michael L. Magaraci.

“Violators of our Ethos are neither teammates in good standing, nor Teammates who represent Naval Special Warfare,” Losey and Magaraci said in the letter, which Naval Special Warfare Command confirmed as legitimate. “We do not abide willful or selfish disregard for our core values in return for public notoriety and financial gain, which only diminishes otherwise honorable service, courage and sacrifice.”

The SEAL leaders added that they will “actively seek judicial consequence” for any SEAL who discloses classified information and puts families or future operations at risk.

On Tuesday, Fox News will air a highly-anticipated documentary about a former Navy SEAL named Robert O’Neill, who claims to be the man who fired the shot that killed Osama bin Laden. Several of O’Neill’s former brothers-in-arms are coming forward to say his story is way, way off.

In interviews with The Daily Beast, former special operations officials, as well as other sources who are familiar with the events of the 2011 raid on bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, accused O’Neill of misstating key facts and wrongly taking sole credit for killing the world’s then-most wanted man.

At issue is who fired the shot—or shots—that hit bin Laden in the head, splitting open his skull and almost certainly ending his life. O’Neill insists that he was the shooter. But others—including a fellow SEAL who was standing within feet of O’Neill when the final encounter with bin Laden went down—say another, still-unidentified man likely fired the round that caused a lethal head wound.

Jim Rockford

Confirms what I have read as well. He was on the second floor. However, he did not fire the fatal shot. Sad, because the dude is a hero in my eyes regardless. Really does not matter who killed him. He is dead, and that is all I care about.

The top navy brass can honestly frick off here.

They and the Obama admin already released for much stuff. Doesn't seem like they give a shite about the "ethos"

The public will never really know who the shooter was. This cat may be the real shooter.

And several others have come forward to confirm it.

Seems like this new wave of folks who are contesting it are doing it under orders

You are right. No one in the public will likely know in our lifetime. But his bros know, and they are saying it was not him. Is it sour grapes? Not sure. Pretty disappointed in him and Mark Bissonnette.

Yup. Sad because everyone that went feet wet (actual raid or the FARP/support element) is a hero in my eyes. Does not matter who ended his miserable life. Only that he is dead.

And some of his bros confirmed it was Rob O'Neil when Bisonette's story came out. I'll go with their first statements and not those influenced by what they deem to be betrayal or dishonor. But that's just me...

Now there is a good point to consider.
