Mississippi State
Alabama
Those are my only for sure answers.
Auburn's defense is too shitty to say that they would definitely be able to outscore a team like Oregon or Arizona State.
LSU, as they are currently playing, would probably win the Pac 12. Their defense is really good. And they'd dominate the line of scrimmage on everyone. However, you have to account their struggles at the beginning of the season. So I won't count them.
Ole Miss, now that I think about it, probably would. They've got a really good defense, and would probably be able to run the ball a lot better on those shitty Pac 12 defenses.
I'll go Mississippi State, Alabama, and Ole Miss.

Well said.
I say MSU, Bama, Aub, LSU (assuming the bigger games are after Welter is benched), and OM would all be favorites to win.

AU could possibly overcome its crap defense IF the O didn't give the ball away several times a game.

AU would have a similar shot to Alabama or Ole Miss, IMO. LSU would have a slightly lesser shot. MSU would seemingly have the best shot, but we'll know more this week. I'm not sold MSU is the class of the conference, but nobody else has looked especially impressive.

who knows, maybe some, maybe none. I wouldn't say MSU or bama would for sure win the pac 12, this isn't 09-12 Bama we're talking about here.
What some of you SEC homers fail to grasp is theres no dominant team this year. Everyone is really flawed. This is the most parity I've seen in CFB in a very long time.

You say that but forget that the PAC 12's strongest teams are weaker than usual.
Stanford is bad.
Oregon isn't very good.
UCLA is not anywhere close to earning the preseason hype.
Arizona State has never been a legit team.
UTAH? Lol okay.

About as many PAC teams that would win the SEC
Posted on 11/11/14 at 8:55 pm to Vanilla Ice

Oregon isn't very good.
Ranked #2 in the country, ahead of every SEC team outside of MSU.
quote:
UCLA is not anywhere close to earning the preseason hype.
Ranked 11th in the country. Probably around where most people who knew about UCLA would have put them.

Arizona State has never been a legit team.
Ranked #6 in the country.
Man, if the #2 and #6 teams in the country suck so bad, what does that say about the 12 SEC teams ranked behind them?

MSU and Bama, maybe
the PAC is legit. this SEC homerism shite is fricking retarded.

That they shouldn't be ranked #2 and #6, dumbass.
Since when did rankings mean teams were better? Moo St was unranked to start the year big dog.

It's one of the most legit things we have to measure them by. Better than hypothetical land.

Auburn would lose in some wild shoot-outs.
Bama could definitely get outscored if Ole Miss can do it to them...with the varied Pac offenses and wide open offenses...
Nothing Saban likes better than what Miles gifts him every year...just line-up and let the Mastadons go at it in simple plays smushed in the middle of the field...big boy high school football.
Nothing Saban fears most...wide open spread the field innovative play-calling...ala Manziel and TAMU - now multiply that by 7-9 teams in the Pac doing the same thing.
Only team Saban would feel comfortable facing is Stanford.

Not Bama, they wouldn't be able to outscore Oregon

I don't think many of us are arguing there is a dominant SEC team.
What we are arguing is a team like Oregon wouldn't make it out of the SEC with only 1 loss. O wants no part of playing in a division like the SEC West.

Meh.
The Pac 12 isn't that legit. It's the 3rd best conference. But I think a lot of those teams - Utah, Arizona, and to an extent UCLA - aren't that great.

Hell, Vandy would win it.
