Per Gallup.
Anybody think Obama is getting a bum rap with an AR below 40%?

Usually after an election, the approval rating of the president goes up. This is odd.

The fact that it's above 20% scares the shite out of me.

No, in a just world it would be like 9% instead of 39.

No wait! I've been seeing many posts by left wingers describing what an incredible Prez he's been. He has been described as one of the best of all time! Those numbers can't be accurate.

This number seems WAY to high for this fricking idiot!!!

Yes. Almost exactly half of the country doesn't believe his crap (didn't vote for him). He rules this country like everyone wants exactly what he wants. The legislation coming out of Washington should be extremely partisan considering we are exactly divided. But, that is not what Obama and Reid and Pelosi have done.
It has been beyond unAmerican the crap they are pushing down our throats.

It's like 5% unemployment which most economists consider to be full employment.
39% is considered widespread dissatisfaction, disgust and anger with the Obama administration. There will always be that block that approves of him and that's backs, other minorities, and partisan democrats.

He's not even trying to be President at this point.
Honestly, I'd have more respect for an even more liberal POTUS if they acted interested in the country and their position. Obama could truly give a shite at this point.

There is no conceivable way to justify Obama's approval ratings being that high....

Comparing this to the last year six midterm, Bush's numbers went down slightly following the 2006 elections. I'm guessing some sort of bandwagon effect is in play here.

Most president's can depend on at least 35%-40% approval rating with the support of their base alone. Bush's numbers really went in the gutter when conservatives started to abandon him. 39% is way too high, but I'm not expecting it to go much lower.

It was 38% in both August (just 3 months after bin Laden's death) and October of 2011, yet he somehow won reelection. That 38% was reached again on Labor Day weekend of 2014. He has never been below 38% in Gallup Polls in his years as president.
His all-time high disapproval rating in Gallup polls was reached last month (Oct. 8-10) at 57% (it's 56% today).
And the widest gap between Obama's approval and disapproval ratings on Gallup has been -17 points, which he reached in 2011 and again in today's numbers.
So his floor may well be that 38% figure - unless he proceeds with the amnesty executive action and and gets a very bad reaction. But even then I see his absolute, worst-case-scenario floor at 35% approval between now and January 3rd, 2015, in Gallup polls, and probably getting back into the low 40's for much of 2015 and possibly mid-40's in 2016 as he blames everything that goes wrong on the GOP controlling both chambers and he gets sympathy support. Even with that bit of a comeback, the Dem nominee will run away from him throughout the 2016 campaign.

So it seems. And this is not just a one sided opinion either.
Most presidents have been fairly quite in bitching once they are out of office. Like Carter will BHO ever stop when he's done?

Executive Orders on Immigration drove the public to the GOP the last month leading to the election. It's keeping Obamas approval down now and will drop if he follows through on amnesty unilaterally.

He was supposed to make the rest of the world respect the US by weakening it. He has shunned our allies and bowed to our enemies yet they don't respect us anymore. China and Russia are getting bolder than they've been since the 1970s. Our President may have been born in America but he doesn't think like an American President should think.
Real unemployment isn't any better than it was when he took office. Wages have stagnated. Wall street is booming because the Fed is printing money. Obama's answer is to raise minimum wage. That helps nobody. If anything, it hurt the worker who has busted his arse to make more than minimum wage because he doesn't get a raise but the prices of goods and services naturally have to go up.
The shine is off the turd.

The fact it is this high is shocking.
He has shown himself to be a unrepentant liar, eager to shite all over the Constitution, who believes himself superior to anyone and everyone.
frick his worthless arse.
