The low is only 30. You dont need a big jacket for that. Just layer well and throw over a rain resistant jacket on top and you are good to go

Members Only. But you'd need to be able to afford the initiation fee.

See Spyder all over the mountains.

Wear whatever you want and can afford. Not what other people are or aren't wearing.

Let me give you a tip on how to pick a jacket. Go to Nordstrom, or any high end place in your town, and get a personal shopper to pick the best one for you. If you can afford it then buy it, if not go home and find something similar online in your price range. At decent stores personal shoppers that are experts in matching you to the right clothes are 100% free, use them instead of the OT.

That's the point. I'm wearing what I want and not because it's the trendy thing to do. And there's no mountains in SLA..

I'd layer. My Columbia Klamath jacket is a light fleece but gets very warm over a long sleeve shirt and under a thicker jacket.

I just bought this one. I used it Halloween weekend in Boston when it snowed. It was very warm.

If it's 30 outside, I'm either wearing the heaviest jacket I own, or I'm staying inside.

I just think it will be a huge waste of money for him to buy a proper winter jacket. If the weather was going to be 15 or below, I would say bite the bullet. But at 30 degrees laying and he will be fine
