Did anyone else want Jennings out for a series?

I feel bad for saying that and thinking it, but I wanted to see Harris just for a drive. I was cheering Jennings on to get up and I wanted him back in the game, but I wanted to watch Harris lead us for just one drive. It was at home where he has excelled, no opposing fans to rattle him. No start to get him nervous, he could just go out and play.

Everybody watching with me knew exactly what play Harris was going to run. Kinda pissed me off that despite the fact that he knew it, we knew it, Miles knew it, Cam knew it, Alabama probably knew it, and everybody in the stands knew it, we still had to burn a timeout to run it.

No reason he shouldn't get one drive per half.

I wouldn't have minded at all if Rashard Robinson and AJ had switched fates before the game. Of course, Miles c*cked teased us during press conferences all week with "situational plays".

I did. Just give him another shot. That's all I ask for.

Yeah, what's up with all that faking by Jennings and then them pulling harris after 1 play twice?

Yeah. No one will say what they really thought when AJ went down. I was hoping he would be fine...later. I really wanted to see what BH cojld do when LM had no hook.

Kind of torn, actually. I thought Jennings had a handle on the game, which was pretty intense.

Sure, I hoped Harris would come in loose and go nuts, but I was also very afraid he would freak out and do something that would kill us. A fumble or a wild INT, that would have opened the floodgates.

On the comment that Jennings "faked" the injury, all I'll say is this: someone needs to get the damn equipment issue fixed. That's 2 games in a row someone has yanked an LSU player's facemask clean off, something I've never seen before in any other college or pro game.

People seemed to cheer when AJ would come back in.

I really thought we had a chance to win when Harris went in. I particularly thought Jennings flopping like his knee went out was particularly classless.

We're trend-setters ... tear-away face masks, similar to the tear-away jerseys from the 70's-80's.

I thought we decided that the new helmets are designed to do this on purpose. Better to pull off a facemask than pull off somebody's head. My only issue with it is that (shocker) there was no penalty called.

I think they ARE designed to come off like that.
