Am I going to get used to movement?
So far I feel like I am being forced to relearn how to walk.
In DOA and most games there is a move forward button and the mouse helps with direction.
In DOA you could click on a spot and you character would run there. You could click on a monster to attack. Now I appear to have to constantly mash the wasd combos and fine tuning my walking and running seems to be a severe pain.

Also there is a super tough rift in the south hinterlands that 3/4 died when I've tried to close it twice.

The rift on the river, just south of the farm...died 6 times in a row.
A greater demon and spirit with ice magic first, then the rift produces 2 more of each after I try to close it.
Rage quit...frick you greater evil.

Leveling up in this game is a looooong process. I feel like I've been stuck on level 6 forever.

Per Reddit, there are 3 level 12 rifts in the area. I think we found one by the farm.

Just goofed around for a bit and had to stop until tomorrow. I still really suck at moving and actually hitting monsters.

OK yes I am saying this, as a huge fanboy at the release of Skyrim, this game has that feel but with a meaningful main quest.

I only had 300.
It's not the same game, but I am 8 hours in and feel like I am only scratching the surface, the side quests are fun.

Item level 9 and I'm only lvl 5
crafted weapons are awesome/op early. I suggest yall figure it out and put that iron, silk, and drakestone to use

I'm switching to far cry. I'm a bit annoyed. I really don't like doing a quest to have to wander around for 15 minutes to find something that can barely be seen if you know what it is.
