Upcoming Movie Remakes (seeking your opinions)

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) - I'm excited.
Pet Sematary (? date) - Not sure yet. This is my favorite horror film. I like the original the way it is. My prediction - it'll suck. But I want it to be badass scary.
Point Break (2015) - Meh. Original is perfect. Will probably fail.
The Crow (? date) - Seriously? Remaking this movie is a stupid idea. Plus it stars Luke Evans. Will be a shite show.
The Orphanage (? date) - This one needs to be remade. Will be solid but not the best horror film. Just solid.
Barbarella (2014 TV movie) - Well, I was excited until I noticed it's a made for TV movie. Therefore, no nudity...will suck.
Dirty Dancing (? date) - What...the...frick? I hate Hollywood.
Drop Dead Fred (? date) - couldn't be worse than the original. I have some hope for this providing they choose the right comedian.
Starship Troopers (? date) - Hollywood's stupid.
The NeverEnding Story (?) - If Jim Henson Company is on board then it will be a masterpiece. If not, it'll be awful. I need to find out more info before deciding whether or not this movie will be good.
War Games (?) - I may fricking blow up the Hollywood sign...
Terry Gilliam's Time Bandits (?) - This may be the most mind blowingly stupid decision to remake a one of a kind movie. Jesus!
Akira (?) - frickING EXCITED!!!! CAN'T WAIT!
American Psycho (?) - Well, Movie Board...what do you think?
The Birds (?) -
Commando - I'm actually on board for this to be remade. I don't know why.
Heavy Metal - At first I was like "dammit! What the frick?". And then I read that it is being directed by David Fincher and I was like, "I'm super fricking on board! Bring it on!" This will be great.
Highlander - this is real life. a remake will actually happen. morons.
Romancing the Stone -
Scarface - some producer needs to be drawn and quartered
Short Circuit - meh
Flight of the Navigator - Could be very good. I'm excited.
Videodrome - for frick's sake.
Jacob's Ladder - I swear that Hollywood needs a fricking reboot. this makes me sick.
Jumanji wtf
Weird Science wtf
Poltergeist what the motherfrick?
Gremlins wtf
Bloodsport wtf
Police Academy - I'm going to punch the computer.
Suspiria - Argento is rolling in his grave
Young Sherlock Holmes - One of my secret favorite films. The remake will be shite.
Overboard - seriously. This is for real.
Battle Royale - aka The Hunger Games. LOL. This will probably be far better than the Hunger Games. I'm officially excited!!!
Hellraiser - derp. derp. derp
Private Benjamin - L...O...L
Ben Hur - Will be epic!!! Excited!

I don't mind remakes that much. It doesn't blank out the originals or anything.

I also don't know why I'm with you on this one.
Not only no, but HELL NAW, to virtually all of the rest. Any that I don't think that about probably shouldn't have been made in the first place.
Here's a twist- Milano should play the lead (the kick arse soldier) in Commando, and have one of Arnold's sons play the kid.

Not going to lie, I hated it the first time I tried to watch it - but I was stupid kid and didn't know $hit about $hit - after a little life experience I was able to appreciate the film much more - I'm not as enamored of it as you are, but:
A. There ain't no such animal as "perfect", and
2. I would balk at even "masterpiece" - but I'll stipulate that as a final product, and for what it set out to do, it's extremely well-done and should not be remade.
