I see a pattern here. Cholly Mac/Bryant, LSU/Alabama, Miles/Saban.

Since 2007, Alabama has lost more than one game to only 2 teams, Auburn (Avg Score 16-31) and LSU (Avg Score (18-24).

They have been on a whole other level during that time. It sucks because we have has some really good seasons ruined, and it sucks because Saban used to coach here, but it is becoming an unhealthy obsession.

Seeing as how fan is short for fanatical, how do you propose to remedy this situation?

Resign ourselves to losses? Hope we can be competitive vs them? Ignore it when it will always be a story line since we face them every year?

Or do you just suggest deserting being a fan? I'd love to get your opinion, oh wise one? LSU fans without passion are basically Vandy fans.

I would probably start with not chanting "frick You Saban" during games.

Secondly, as a fan treat every opponent that enters Tiger Stadium with the same energy and enthusiasm as Alabama, or Ole Miss this year. Show up early, cheer loudly and stay the entire time. It's easy to make excuses for traffic, that the games are boring, that the team we are playing sucks, etc. but that is all bull shite. If you want to claim to be fanatics, be fanatics all the time, not just when it is convenient.

So Saban is a better coach than Miles? Is this supposed to be news to anyone? Should we compare him to every other coach in the country too, now? Is it necessary?

yeah im with waffle, i went to every game and screamed my arse off, sidewalk fans split two games this year, some came to ole miss, some came to bama. If ole miss wasnt #3, they wouldnt have showed up. I think our fans need to be more fanatical, and root for this team every week, not once a year.

2-4 since 2010
0-4 in the past 4 games.
I just want to get that bad taste out of my mouth from the 2011 national championship game.

Now subtract the games the refs won from Saban's totals...
