Obviously Westbrook has had some success, so he doesn't count.

My vote has to be Brandon Jennings. Every time he scores he is ignoring a wide open teammate. He is already being a malcontent with SVG, and makes Josh Smith look like a team player. I think I'd take any other starting point guard to play with or for my team. He's more talented than some, but he watched too much Iverson/Marbury growing up.

Is there any challenger to his throne?

Irving hands down. Plays with Love and LeBron and can't get a single assist.

While those two are contenders, Irving at least has a FIBA MVP, All-Star MVP and will clearly have some success going forward. Walker looks like he is on the upswing and at least knows to get the ball to Big Al. He's in a pissing contest with the 8th Grader right now, so you could be right about him.

Jennings is a good one, but I gotta admit I'm perplexed about Irving. I don't know what his deal is.

The least selfish will eventually be Elfrid Payton. But that's because he can't shoot

I'd say Rondo or Rubio are the least selfish right now though.

Probably the least deserved reputation in the league; Rubio is super selfish, particularly defensively, where he constantly gambles for steals and leaves teammates scrambling to cover up behind him.

He's a nifty passer who can't shoot; he often dribbles himself out of plays, and can single-handedly ruin an offense's spacing, thereby screwing up his teammates' hard work, then throw a pass out his arse to make up for it. Looks for a difficult pass over the easy one, even when the easy one will do.

Oh-- and his entire career has been an exercise in under-performing, despite playing next to the best PF in the NBA for virtually all of it.

I think both can actually be selfish in their unselfishness, if that makes sense. Rondo at one time, appeared to be passing up easy shots for more difficult shots to get his assist numbers up when he was on some kind of streak (can't remember if it was double-digit assists or triple doubles). That being said, he's far superior to Rubio in all areas.

I love Rondo, but he does this shite all the time still. Rubio and Rondo are both very selfish in their own ways

Agreed. Rondo's behavior, especially in big games, is sometimes his most selfish attribute when he gets untimely technicals or suspended.

I won't be surprised if the Cavs try to move him before next season to add a better fitting 3rd player for Love and LeBron. LeBron is more than capable of handling the playmaking role, and he does a better job of keeping all of his teammates in the offense.

Brandon Jennings was 7th in the NBA last year with 7.6 assists per game.

The best PG in the game is the least selfish IMO.

Chris Paul could shoot constantly and score a stupid amount of points because he is a talented offensive player, but he'd rather dish it. He has great fundamentals and really runs the offense well. His bounce passes are a thing of beauty.
