I didn't think the refs factored into the game. shite they even called a couple holdings on Bama.

You must have missed the personal foul call that stopped the clock and backed us up 15 yards with about a minute to play.

Would it ever be possible to have consequences for a ref's blatant bad calls

If they didn't do it in 2009 with the PP interception and subsequent review, I don't see how they ever would.

Agreed. Nothing compared to AU 2006.

The touchback was a bad call and the personal foul was kind of chicken shite but that's it. LSU even got away with PI in the end zone

yeah you are dealing with topwater trout...to admit that that was a bs call that impacted the game would be to admit that it wasn't all Les Miles fault that we lost...if you know what I mean.

Or missed the call on downing the punt on the 1 yd line

Or the non facemask call when Jennings head was ripped off

Or the non PI call on the last play of the game

He went on way after the whistle. He should have shown some restraint and NOT given the officials a chance to make that call. Even so they called one on Bama in ot. We got away with a PI on a drive that ended with a missed FG. I thought the game was called fairly even. Lsu fans need to quit crying about the refs...every call our fan base becomes little babies. I see teams getting screwed all the time.

and you will look for any reason to blame anyone but miles right? Refs, players, weather, nfl draft, am I forgetting anything?

I am not saying the refs are the reason we lost but affected the game in a very negative way and that is a shame

And this somehow excuses it? UF Kentucky, ND FSU. Doesn't matter those guys need to be held accountable for blowing calls. Why even have replay?

Well, that's bad reffing. Those guys get paid to do a job. The fact is that the Bama guy was pulling on his leg with a ref staring at him. Why was our guy called and not the Bama guy or other 10 guys that were pushing each other?

It's true that LSU needs to learn to overcome bad calls. We still could have stopped Bama and won, but we didn't. Ole Miss overcame some awful calls in Bama's favor and won. That's what we have to learn to do. But the refs did F us with that one. Gotta overcome in the future...

I think the refs should not be sheltered like they are. They should be forced to endure post game press conferences just like coaches. Stop treating them like dignitaries and treat them like the paid employees that they are!
