So many people do not understand the factor that matters most about the 2014 LSU Season - That is? It is a year of posturing and development in transition to a return to championship contention in the 2015-2016 2-year span.

1) We have started and/or played a tremendous number of true freshman

2) We have our weakest DLine in years, yet they are growing up.

3) No one with any sense expected us to truly overcome these 2 factors in the 2-14 season. Many hoped so, but no one should have expected such a thing.

Yes, Anthony Jennings is on track to lack development, and that is a concern. Yes, Brandon Harris is not being given enough of an opportunity to redeem himself. Yes, that is concerning, as it makes our offense way to predictable, which is an issue.

Yet, 2015 is the year when we will be valid in expecting our Tigers to contend for the SEC West, SEC and PLayoff Championships.

Otherwise, you are an "over-concluder" if you cannot put the overall season into perspective. Our Tigers have made us proud, regardless of how we close out the season.

So, if you cannot process the aggregate of the dynamics of 2014, and think that losing to Bama last night means we will never beat Saban again, or anything else of similar silliness - Please learn to gain some comprehensive thinking skills, or maybe a better attitude that is realistic and sensible.

Because LSU is NOT falling down as a program.

Jennings is likely to be our limiting factor moving forward, yet he and Harris will have one more year in the system for the 2015 and 2016 runs, and the rest of the team will be nasty good.

Thank you very much.

You should copy and save this post so you can post it again next year after another mediocre season.

Will you come back with yours if LSU has a great season?

No need to answer. You will crawl back into your little rat hole and never be heard from.

Bama is LSU kryptonite. That game was won and we still fricked it up. A great season doesn't mean shite if you're still the second best team in your division.

I really don't conclude any more than the OP. But the absence of even remotely productive QB play is a big deal by itself.

After reading, still unsure what an "Over-Concluder" is. However, agree with most of your points.

That said, this was a tough loss because the want was so strong and to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with 50 seconds to the red team who had no time outs is doubly painful.

Folks are going to have to vent; questions will be posed.

Not true ... he'll be heard from as soon as the team loses a game.

2011 was great, even with 1/9.

Was that the last time LSU met YOUR expectations? Is that it with you? Things have to go YOUR way or you bitch? Do you hold your breath and bang the floor when things aren't the way YOU want them?
LSU exists to keep YOU entertained?

I don't understand how you can be happy with the results that have been shown recently. Do you LIKE losing to Alabama, Auburn, and God forbid the Grinders?

Without an effective QB it does not matter how good the rest of our team is. As the QB goes so goes the team. We have to get decent QB play. That is the cause of last night's loss. With a decent QB we probably win the game by two TD's. If next year the QB situation is the same, it doesn't matter how great the rest of the team is, we will get the same results.

I was disappointed, sure. But I don't come in here and cry like a three year old who lost his teddy.

Bad things happen, but when they do that's the exact time a true fan steps forward and backs his team. Do I like what happened? No. Can I change it? No? Am I still supportive of LSU, the players and coaches, yes.

I don't demand anything of them other than an honest effort. I don't require that they do things in a certain way because it makes me feel better. I don't need what they do to make me feel good about myself.

If you need LSU to win a specific number of games by a certain point spread to somehow validate your self, you have my sympathy. If you can't handle adversity, it's not a weakness of the team but of your character. If you can't stand up and be counted for your team, at least be honest with yourself and admit that you lack the stamina for the long run.

I'm generally a little less hard skinned than most of you and take a lot of things to heart. I'm surrounded by a bunch of non-football watching folks who just like to get on my nerves anytime the Tigers don't do well. Our performance lately's just been really fricking frustrating, and on the topic of expectations, my expectation this year was not a winning season, but at least beating the Gumps. They failed, and of course I blow my fricking gasket.

The team has problems and I'm just really sick of how none of them seem to be getting corrected. It's frustrating as all hell that Bama gets better and we get worse. It's frustrating as hell to see the Gumps get to jerk off and laugh in our faces for a whole nother year while we get to look forward to the Alamo Bowl or some shite.

You're right though. I need to take a step back. Sorry for arguing with you.
