I want to hear our incredible band's signature tunes between plays, not little john.

Play the shite during tv timeouts, not in-game. Its like they are trying to outdo auburn and tennessee.

Just face it, we are in the 21st century. Times have changed, the game is more commercial than ever and it will only get worse. Traditions just arent the same as they were 10 years ago.

on tv they've got it completely blocked out, the only time you can barely hear them is when they pan to a shot of the band, and then it's muted

We shouldve heard NECK after the fumble recovery.

The AD, GBFTL and the Death Valley DJ can suck that tiger dick bitch.

Very disconcerting. I think the college football product overall has peaked and will lose its luster in the next few years. The 4 team playoff is already being criticized and the game has become too corporate and not enough Main Street college football feel to it.

Might as well not have a band anymore.

Who is the cheeseball DJ anyway? Song selection is about as generic as could be.

Is the band still playing the wrong music on the wrong down? Our band has declined quite a bit and is a shell of its former self.

Go join the weekly "the band sucks" thread.

Though I will say they seemed like they were being very conservative with the songcalling. Bama's band played a lot regardless of any piped-in music, other band playing, live play, etc. (which is rude as hell IMO, and the home band usually has more restrictions on playing).
