They were a real subculture back in the early-mid 90's complete with ceremonies in cemeteries. They blended Wicca with voodoo. Freaky group.

I have never come across one. One time I went on the vampire tour where they show you the houses of alleged vampires from the old days. It was a cool little history tour but got boring after about an hour. The tour guide looked like a vampire but I asked him and he said he wasn't.

I spent many Saturday nights at the blue crystal and saw no vampires, only kids who wanted to call extra attention to their adolescent rebellion.
Now having watched that video, I didn't se any vampires there, just a bunch of personality disordered dorks seeking attention while trying to one up star trek nerds in dedication.
