Going up next weekend for the UL/ULL game and eating at Nonna friday night. Whats the scoop on this apparently fabulous place?

Ate there last week. Fine place. Do some small plates, entrees, and put a pizza in the middle for the table. Great desserts, too.

Go somewhere else . . . McDonald's . . . Popeye's . . . Red Lobster . . . you will be happier!

Nonna is excellent. Get the meatballs with polenta for a starter. Most, if not all, of their pasta is made in-house. The gnocchi is very good. Their pizzas are also top notch. If it's not too cold, have a drink on the back patio.
I've eaten there multiple times, and have yet to have a bad meal.

I haven't had a bad meal (the food is damn good), but the service is about as bad as I have ever had at a nice establishment.

We ate there last week, and that was probably our 4th or 5th trip. Service hasn't been a problem, so far. Hell, the place is small enough you could just grab a damn waiter as he/she walked by if you needed too.
The food has always been top notch. They did pare back the menu after the storm, I think, but the offerings we had were excellent. Fleaux, it'd be a mistake not to put a pizza on the table. I've had very few that come close to theirs. Awesome crust.

I've been 4-5 times as well, and I've had major service issues every time. Just this last time, it took us 30 minutes to get our check after we stopped two separate people other than our waiter to get it.
I've also had issues getting my drink in a timely manner. I mean, how hard is it to put a glass of wine at 6 pm when the place has 5 people in it?
But, I can't knock the food one bit. Gnocchi is spot the hell on.

FP, you need to go back to charm school...
And the gnocchi is excellent.
