I'm going to an event tomorrow night, which is being catered by GG's. The internet tells me that it's situated in the same spot as Gott Gourmet (GG's). I didn't realize they changed names. What's good? My body is curious.

I actually went for the first time last week. Food was okay. Tasted like typical diner food to me. Catering might be different.

Dave (owner) was doing catering prior to opening the restaurant. I'm sure the catering will be solid.

I think it's solid.

late edit: I had the fried artichoke hearts which were great, and the Shrimp BLT wrap, which I really enjoyed. Good lunch spot in that neighborhood.

They make a damn fine bloody. Never had the food besides the wings. Couldn't finish them too spicy. Should have just went with the hot ones.

I went there for brunch a month or two ago and I was not impressed. I ordered the special which was a pulled pork eggs benedict. It was incredibly bland and overall really disappointing compared to some of the other brunch spots in the area.

I haven't had any lunch/dinner items from them so maybe they are good in that capacity.

You people should actually go to some of the places that are discussed on this board before you start warning other people not to go based on some information you heard that isn't necessarily true

It's perfect for to-go ordering when you're sitting at Rendezvous drunk and hungry and La Cocinita isn't there yet. Curry chicken salad is my usual. Aladdin hooks it up.
