Is Georgia the most Gerrymandered State?

I was looking over the election results yesterday, and noticed that in Georgia's 14 House of Representatives districts, 7 of them were completely uncontested. None of the other 7 even had competitive results.
This is another reason people have for not voting. There is simply no choice and voting makes no difference at all. The party in power fixes it so voting is irrelevant.
Are there any states worse than Georgia when it comes to gerrymandering?

i think illinois has 2 amazingly gerrymandered districts
i hate gerrymandering, but until we rescind the VRA it's not going to be possible in many states
i believe california is quite progressive in drawing "real" districts

District lines make more sense drawn by constituent addresses than geographics, IMO. If the lines were drawn by geographics only, minorities would have less of a chance of getting representation.

Democrats won in nine of the 10 most-gerrymandered districts. But eight out of 10 of those districts were drawn by Republicans

Louisiana 2nd
Basically any minority-majority district because of the VRA.

Send all gerrymandering complaints to the Federal judges. This is all on them.

I've had this discussion before, but unless you do a system where you get X votes and vote for X congressmen (X being the number of CDs) it is basically physically impossible to not "gerrymander"

Funny how that district hops around the white neighborhoods.

Majority-minority districts have doomed any sort of democracy in the South.
The false assumption that white folks cannot represent black folks, and herding people into voting booths based on the color of their skin - in direct opposition to everything Dr. King stood for - has led us to this point.
If Congressional districts were drawn to reasonably reflect the historical, regional associations among communities, rather than to achieve a particular resulting skin color, then Democrat AND Republican candidates would have to get out there and compete for the black (and in many places, now, latino) vote.
Rather than take for granted/ignore, like they do now. Don't get me wrong - it has been a long time since blacks were excited about voting in elections where BHO is not running for president, but that can change if they are engaged.

State districts 77 & 78 in Alabama are PRIME examples of this.
Dude actually stood before state congress and said he had no problem for a man to marry his mule if he and the mule got along.
He's been there 30 years and won Tuesday by a landslide.

Will Louisiana be under the VRA umbrella when they redistrict in 2020?
This is doing nothing but creating more politically extreme districts.

There's a software guy somewhere that can make this a better process. Gerrymandering kills representative politics.

I don't see any problem with this at all and obviously the "Dude" has quite the public support on this issue.

I forget who said it
"There was once a day when voters chose who they vote for. Today, politicians choose who for them"
