They only got 60% in the midterms this year. It would be unprecedented if that were to happen. Time for a reality check. Y'all need to read this article. It is going to be VERY daunting for the GOP to keep the Senate in 2016 much less even sniff the WH.

Without reading, you physically can't predict that this far out. You have no idea what will happen the next two years. That will determine more than anything what will need to happen in 2016 than an article written the day after the midterms

Yes, an article full of assumptions to help make the Democrats feel better. Who woulda guessed something like this would be written today?

By the way toddy, your precious georgia democrats laid a giant egg yesterday. NOBODY thought Perdue was going to avoid a runoff. Blacks let Nunn down, just like they will let down Hillary.

But that map will be upended in 2016, when 23 of the 33 seats at stake will be held by Republicans. Six of them will be in states that Obama won in 2008 and 2012 (Illinois, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and Wisconsin). Two will be in states Obama won in 2008 (Indiana, North Carolina). Two are held by senators who may be retiring (John McCain in Arizona, Chuck Grassley in Iowa). And two are held by senators who may be running for president, which means they can’t run for re-election (Marco Rubio in Florida, Rand Paul in Kentucky).

In other words, for every Senate seat that Republicans flipped in 2014, there’s one — or more — that’s likely to flip back to the Democrats in 2016.
This is very poor logic. That article is terrible

Two more years under the bum that currently sits in the White House and they'll reach that percentage and go above it.

Toddy if the Democrats continue their War On Whites the GOP will probably have 75%+ of the white vote.

No problem for the GOP. Democrats are increasingly losing the white vote each election.

No just going by what has happened historically.

Tell me how the nominee is going to get that high of a percentage of the white vote against Hillary.

I don't see how it happens.

If you think brown and black folks are going to turn out in droves for hillary as much as they did for O, then YOU are the one that needs a reality check.

Your precious leftist sites were telling me ALL summer that the massive voter registration of blacks in Georgia was going to deliver GA to Nunn. It didn't happen. She underperformed Obama. After 300k new african americans were registered to vote by the dem party.

Hillary would not have Obama's organization working for her on election day. Bill has already been turned down by Obama when he asked for it.

So in your opinion both sides have to hope they can win the bigotry turnout. Nice.

Not really. My patronage to the Democrats is coming to an end. I don't even know who I'm voting for in 2016. I may have reverted back to the GOP by then. I just think it's very naive to assume the GOP is going to win it all in 2016. I like to deal in reality. And the reality is it's going to be VERY VERY CHALLENGING for the Republican Party to reclaim the WH. Especially against a Clinton.
