Team A 1-8 and out of contention is trading away Charles and Stacy to team B who is 5-4 for West and Jennings. But the kicker is the Charles owner already has Lacy and Ingram to go w Charles. Makes no sense to trade away Charles when he has rbs to trade. Thanks guys

Don't think I agree with this.

I think you mean it makes no sense to trade for 2 RBs when you have Charles, Lacy, Ingram.

Is this a money league? (first question I should ask every time). Do these guys know each other IRL?

Is the 1-8 team statistically out of playoff contention? If so, they should not be allowed to trade unless it's a keeper league. May be tricky to veto now but you should create a new rule next year that prohibits teams out if the playoff contention from making trades

Sorry guys. No keeps and yes 100 buy in. The guy that has Charles also has Lacy and Ingram. 2rbs and flex. So why would it make sense to trade away Charles for basically Jennings.

I'd ask them each to justify their reasoning for the trade.

Easily the guy getting Charles wants Charles, but what's in it for the Lacy/Ingram owner? West and Jennings? Ask him to explain.

I almost always let things go but I don't understand Charles for Jennings. I guess ask the Charles owner his reasoning.

One more question: Is this first year the league has existed, or this is longtime league with same guys?

I'm curious.

3rd year of league. And the guy who is trading away Charles never trades bc he way over values everyone. But he's normally in contention every year. Just been unlucky this year.

If it's 3rd year with same players, I would discuss with them first. The trade is very fishy, but you also don't want to blow up your league if he has legit reasoning.

Updated. Trade has been vetoed. Me and Co commish took over half people in league involved and they all said no trade. Only reason we have commish trade approvals is to push them through easily w all the Thursday games now

Say what you want. Lacy and Charles have roughly the same stats and Ingram is killing it this year

This. A million times this. A trade should only be vetoed in cases of collusion, and collusion is most easily shown by asking both parties to explain why they are making the trade. If both can articulate a legitimate reason for the trade, even if you disagree with their assessment, the trade should stand.

Sure - If you count the 2 games Charles didn't play or got hurt after 2 carries.

If not, Charles is averaging 5ppg more than Lacy.
