Sacrifice my team for the week for long term sucess???

Here's my situation. About half my team is on a bye this week. I'm in first place at 7-2 with the most points scored. My chances are slim to win anyway so I'm wondering if I should just 'throw' the matchup to collect Gordon on waivers. Starting lineup this week is:

D. Baldwin
Kicker open (bye)

Bench
T. Brady (bye)
D. Hopkins (bye)
A. Foster (bye)
A. Gates (bye)
R. Jennings (hurt)
A. Peterson (???)
S. Gostkowski (bye)

I'm thinking about dropping Baldwin to add Gordon and that would leave me starting no one at flex and kicker this weekend. My only other option would be Jennings, but I'm uncertain what will happen with AP. But my playoff lineup would be:

Thoughts? Is it worth the potential L to scoop up Gordon on waivers?
