Talking about the plantation is like the most racist thing you can say. Only the exceptionally smart black people manage to leave. Normal black people, the stupid ones, all stay on voluntarily because, according to bamarep, the average black person is an idiot.

Uninformed and stupid are to entirely different things. An informed voter no matter what side of the isle they're on is a good thing. Stupid voters that don't educate themselves on who they're voting for shouldn't be allowed to vote.

On the racist scale I believe using the word plantation is fairly benign. Especially given the context it was used by the OP.
