They talked about him for 10 minutes. Chris Matthews secretly loves the guy. He was really defending him against Maddow. Even Al Sharpton had decent things to say about him which points to the inroads Paul's been making in the Black community.

Rand Paul is this generation's Reagan.

Wow...that segment gave me great hope in two years.

I am in utter shock from what I just heard.

The fact that maddow looked scared made me even more confident

Can't run for President in 2016 without giving up Senate Seat

This is big news...

I think dems lost the Kentucky legislator. Those rules can be changed if that's true

He will announce he's running sometime in 2015 and see how the polls go. He'll withdraw before the end of January Kentucky filing deadline if his numbers aren't positive.

There's still time for the Kentucky legislature to fix that.

Democrats have no room to argue against it when they let Biden run for VP and Senator in 2008.

He is phenomenal. Even my liberal friends love the guy. Would be pretty cool to see him and a strong congress guide the country in the right direction.

Agreed. I may not agree with all of his policies, but he's got my admiration.

The Democrats held onto Kentucky legislature and won't help Rand Paul.

He at least still seems like he cares and is genuinely interested in trying to influence positive change in the country. But if he starts rocking the boat look for him to end up like JFK. The money men and true power brokers behind the scenes don't like mavericks.

+1

Republican primary voters aren't smart enough to nominate him. Bless his little heart...
