Pretty sure last year when Amari Cooper was spotted short of the goal line after a review, Verne replied with "Oh well..." Said it with some sort of agitation like he was really pissed the tide didn't get the score but that they were, without a doubt, getting it on the next play. Frick that guy, frick CBS, and most of all frick Ala-BAMA.

When Eric Reid intercepted that ball in the 9-6 game Verne definitely said "ohhhhh nooooo, I thought (whoever the Bama player was) caught it"

Recently saw a clip of this and chuckled. Verne sounded so dissapointed, like his own son had just thrown an interception.
