1 assist in 103 minutes? Is that a record?

that has to be one of the worst statlines for a max contract player over 3 games in history

He has actually made some good passes that led to uncontested bricks. The shooting is certainly affecting our assist numbers.

Can you also post where we were before last night's game and where Memphis is defensively.

Thanks.

this is interesting too last year our pace was 22nd in the league, this year we are 10th through 3 games...could it be that a quicker pace is leading to a lower FG%? And our players just need to get used to it?

A few reasons why we're 1-2:

1. Eric Gordon sucks and I hate him
2. Monty Williams has no idea what to do with this team yet (go figure)
3. We played 2 pretty good teams

I know AD was in foul trouble, but I am glad he only logged 32 minutes last night. Hopefully he is well rested for tonight's game.

Your argument that solely shooting percentage is the reason this team lost two games is simplistic. But then again, that logic is along the lines of most on this board.

It was a simplistic argument cause it was just a platform to show this horrendous ranking. But you can bitch, ill allow it.

Agree with all this but its discouraging, need to beat these types of teams to take that next step.

I think you're a step ahead of where they are. The last BSS podcast broke down how the 2007-2008 Hornets got to the #2 seed and they crushed the lesser teams and were only around .500 against playoff teams. Once we start crushing the bad teams regularly, then we can start looking to beat the good teams more often than not.

Yea, I suppose you are right.

last night was just an ugly game. The Dallas game really got me though because it was their to be won and we just couldn't execute. I think 4 or 5 straight possessions that ended with a Gordon or Evans 17 ft jumper/TO. No touches for AD?

It's early though.
