Figured it would be easier to consolidate all these into one thread, if not feel free to anchor.
Anyway, got up and voted at 7am, was very possibly the first person in Dallas to cast their vote this morning.
I found myself aligning with mostly GOP candidates which scares me bc I don't like some of their ideals, liked a few libertarians as well, maybe voted for 1-2 Dems...
Seriously considered going 3rd party for gov, don't like Abbot or Wendy Davis, but I wanted my vote to matter so...

In.

Early voting last Friday (I do not trust an absentee ballot - 2000 taught me a valuable lesson).

Frisco, TX - Wife and I voted early last week. Good move the location is a fire station 4 blocks from home. No wait at all. The last day of early voting the parking lot was full and cars parked on the street. Voted for Abbot. Don't love him but can't stand Davis.

Rest assured, your vote matters.

Paid a kid $5 to go vote for me after he gets out of school. Civic duty accomplished, thank you lack of NC voter laws.

I don't care for either Abbott or Davis.

So I picked the straight R ticket, then overrode it with a vote for Glass (Libertarian). Also voted Lib for Senator (Cornyn is a RINO).

Of course the R's will take things handily, so I could safely protest vote this year.

Did you remember the separate vote for Proposition 1 (the amendment to move money out of the rainy-day fund to build more highways)?

Voted, 6 am when polling location opened, same as I've done for every election the last 36 years.

Hopefully we can say good bye to Miss Piggy!

Early voted Saturday before last. Voted no on all of the amendments that would have Constitutionally protected more money within specific areas.

At doctor with sick kid now. Will vote on my way back.

Probably a sign that I should vote for the furthering of Obama care.
