Dell deserves blame for this. In a quest for putting together a quasi-talented starting 5, he has completely neglected putting together an even mediocre 2nd unit by trading away 3 straight 1st round picks.

This is not good, guys.

1st round picks are not the only way to find bench depth.

When you look at combined salary for our starting 5, it is.

I never expected for us to take a step back in any part of the team, but man we have bottom 5 bench in the league easily. At least last year's bench was serviceable. Christ Demps what have you done?

With poor ball movement, even if we had a bench, it wouldn't help much. The offensive sets for the Pels are terrible and often non-existent.

A 2nd unit should never be so over-reliant on one player, yet that's exactly how we are set up with Ryno. Whenever he has an off night, we'll lose.

Moving Gordon to the bench seems like it would make sense. Almost too much sense.

Watching the Pelicans half court sets makes my eyes hurt. There is always a ton of standing around and a lot of possessions end up in a late shot clock one on one situation. They take a ton of long jumpers early in the clock too.

The problem isn't what we gave up for Holiday, Dell's biggest mistake is not signing and trading Eric Gordon when he had the chance. Remove Eric Gordon from this roster and add Jared Dudley, $10 million in cap space, and a pick and the complaints about this build strategy would be pretty minimal.

Jimmer not even playing-he could definetely help with outside shooting. I would play him the next 10 games at 15 mins a game and see if he can help you.
