When you kill him check out the hoof on the opposite side of his cow horn. I bet you there's some type of damage to it. It's weird the way that works but i've seen in numerous times

I killed a 220lb 3" spike that was 5 years old. How that sucker got away, just don't know.

Wicked. I have one that one of my buddies killed 5 or so yrs ago that looked like two crowns on his head with large main beam spikes coming out of the center of each mass. I will try to find it.
