In 1962, the entire corps of cadets at La Tech was sworn into active
duty for a couple of days. All those men are probably entitled to
veterans benefits.

If you or your father or uncle was one of those men sworn into active
duty and you have the written proof of the dates, please share them now.

The Air Force ROTC detachment 305 at LaTech does not save the records
at that location more than 10 or 15 years back.

The veterans website can provide proof of any individual’s service if
the person knows the dates.

This topic has been the subject of two previous threads. Helpful
people suggested avenues which did not prove to be relevant.

The only information that can answer this topic is dates of service
during the school year, at La Tech. Yes, the Lt Col at La Tech has
been contacted. No, he has not got this information available to him.
He recommended the vets website. The vets website requires you know
the dates of service.

If a person were to have retired with 10 or more years, they would
have those dates as part of their service record. At the time the
guys were sworn in, much was made of the fact that having been sworn
in during the school year, all such persons would have seniority over
others graduating and going into active duty in late May or early
June. Thank you for your help. If you know of someone who graduated
from La Tech 1962 to 1965 and served in the Air Force, please ask if
they have this information and post their recollections. Ideally
someone will have paperwork.

I really expected to see this at the end:

"If you were a in the corps of cadets at La Tech in 1962, please call the Law Offices of SassyLSU at ...."

If you or someone you know has been injured by faulty vaginal mesh, call the offices of James Sakalov.

Cuban Missile Crisis, I'm guessing?

ETA, But, yeah, this may be one of the oddest/dumbest attorney trolls I've ever seen.
