That little dog didn't follow police instructions and could have peed on a cops foot. Then what? Well anarchy thats what.
Those cops saved us all and deserve a medal or trophy.

police are nothing more than armed pirates and thugs at this point. Any semblance of a group created to protect law, order, personal property, and civilians from harm has long since been removed.

Please call Racine Police Chief Art Howell and ask why his first public comment was to defend the actions of 9 fully armed SWAT team members plus a trained German Shephard Police Dog who were posed absolutely no thread by a 30 pound neighborhood dog.

I've worked for law enforcement agencies (all state, no local/parish) for over 30 years and have a lot of respect for police officers. However, I cannot defend this.

He's correct on premise. The WOD and WOT have turned police departments into us vs. them paramilitary organizations.
The dog shooting meme probably gets a little bit longer play than deserved, but until LEO's are appropriately punished for destroying a private citizen's property call me team dog.

Unfortunately there is a lot more to this story which will likely allow the police to get away with it in this instance, but with people calling and commenting on the Racine facebook page and just generally bugging the ever living shite out of the administrative and investigative portion of the force, it will likely make the new Racine policy to be more along the lines of "okay gang, please don't ever shoot another dog again unless you are TRULY threatened. ever."
