Would suck if true. The Niners would have no problem having him sit the rest of the year. Hope he holds off through one more offseason.

Damn...He was a hell of a player at South Carolina. I remember his first game as a freshman, and how he did good and the commentators were saying how he should have a bright future ahead of him regarding football.

Did he have an insurance policy?

This is why kids should be able to enter the NFL whenever they think they are ready. Physical injuries in college just shorten the extremely talented potential earnings. RB being the most affected.

Really sad if true. I was rooting hard for him to recover.

RB's already have a short shelf life. Agreed.

Such a shame.... A great talent and an even better person who deserved to be playing in the NFL.

Hope for the best for Lattimore.

But wasn't the swelling and pain in the knee kind of expected? I read somewhere that said they expected there to be some swelling/pain because it was the first real workout in full pads and contact that he's done since he got hurt and that it was a very hard workout.

Guess it was worse than they expected. That sucks and is such a shame.

Which is what Maurice Clarrett had accomplished until the NFL appealed the decision. The farther removed from this situation, with what you hear about Maurice, the smarter I think he really is.

Robbery and carrying an armory in the back of your car are certainly the signs of a Mensa member
