Also if you saw the WLOCP today the Florida half of the field was pitiful at kickoff and the Georgia half was pitiful about halfway through the third and certainly in the fourth.

It's all over the country.
We don't have to be like everyone else, or have to like it.
You have to admit, we've gotten spoiled…
The Bama game, however, is going to be ROCKIN'!

Pretty soon big time NCAA Football will be more like the NFL. Sellout or the game will be blacked out in the home teams area.

If you can't bother going to the game .. you can't watch it on TV either.

I really see it coming soon.

Of course a sellout is one thing .. people leaving early from a sellout is another. Not like they would start the blackout at halftime.

Ikr. I switched to another game when south carolina recovered the own - side kick. Then I couldn't believe it when I saw the highlights.

Oh no sir... but in this case I wasn't making a judgment, I was just making an observation...

I'm sure there can be lots of discussion on why this is happening...everything from the current state of the economy and lots of folks not having the discretionary income to enjoy these types of things, to maybe NCAA football going "corporate," or big programs scheduling absolute cupcakes, to a myriad of other causes....I for one have NO idea why it is, and I'm sure there a lot of good folks on this board who are smarter than me that might have some good theories as to why.....

That being said, I must say, what I saw last week vs Ole Miss, and what I am sure we will all see against the gumps this coming week gives me hope that our old Cathedral will always rise up and bare it's teeth when it matters most!

But you were comparing our fan support with that of a team which started out Top10, and in November is less than 500 on the season. In most cases, you are comparing fan reaction to a halftime LSU lead in Tiger Stadium, vs WilliamBrice after it was evident the Cocks would lose to a sub-500 divisional opponent.

More importantly, you are comparing Tiger Stadium on equivalent terms with some far more mediocre venues, saying "we're no worse than they are."
You don't see the problem with that?

Good thing they left early. It saved them the pain of seeing that hot mess of an ending? USCe is the most puzzling team now. One week they give auburn hell and the next they let UT kick their asses.

It snowed in Columbia yesterday morning. I'm guessing there were roads closed. That probably limited some things from a traffic standpoint, even though it does snow about 1 inch per year on average there.

If it snowed in BR on gameday, I suspect Tiger Stadium would be half-full or worse, too. With good reason.

It seems to me that the Tiger fans complaining about people leaving early are the same fans that are watching from their recliner at home.
